This bulb measuring only 3 wide and 4.5 long needs to be given the same respect when using as the rest of the Mega-Ray professional products. While it has a minimum distance of 6 from the face of the bulb to the top of the animal the optimal distance is between 9-12 and even further for low UVB requirement creatures such as amphibians.
